My perfect chaos!

One of the absolute greatest blessings, and greatest challenges, in my life is being a PreK teacher. Do I love it? Yes, Absolutely! But there are some days when I wonder what the hell I'm doing in a profession where I regularly leave work with little paint hand prints on my clothes and glitter in my hair, I use the phrase "Fingers out of your nose please" on a daily basis, and I am constantly reminding myself to take a long deep breath. Well the truth is, there is not a thing in this world I would rather be doing. My students help me to be the best version of myself and I enjoy every moment of every day when I am teaching. My classroom is full of chaos. However it is vibrant, colorful, beautiful, creative chaos that inspires me. My students are the future and whatever tiny part I can play in protecting their spirits, nurturing their creativity, and creating a safe, happy and fun environment for them, well I am honored to do so. Thought it would be nice to have a place (this here blog ;)) to be able to collect my thoughts, ideas, and random musings in regards to teaching. So here it goes...
